Feelings of betrayal

On 27 Apr, a group of students came to our centre for activities. Early in the morning, though it was a raining day, there were elderly coming early. But what was unexpected was that a group of elderly had gone for another organization's outing without informing us.  Much food was left over and we had to pack for those elderly who attended our centre to bring the food back home.  What was very disappointing was that when my supervisor went to fetch some elderly, he saw this group of potang elderly. They either looked away or pretended not to see him.

This same group of elderly had done this not once but twice.  The other time when that organization's staff came storming into our centre and pull them to attend their outing, this group just left. Despite my supervisor informing that staff that we are unable to release our elderly when we have programs of our own, it fell into deaf ear.  But this time, we really need to make a stand.  Such betrayal is very hard to bear.

Tomorrow, I have to address this to this group. Lord, please grant me the wisdom of words to speak to them.  Let the words that come out be firm yet still filled with love for them, that they will not take this negatively but admit the responsibility that they need to have as well.  I commit this into Your hands Lord.
